It is often a matter of discussion by industry leaders that, if possible, students may be at an advantage by being logistically close to their permanent cosmetic trainer. There are several reasons for this opinion; one being that the student, depending on the trainer’s policy, may have an opportunity to readdress a challenging area much more conveniently. Another is that the same laws affect the trainer as well as the student.Yet another, again depending on the policy of the trainer, is the opportunity for the student to possibly provide a local model which would provide for contact during the healing period after performing the procedure.
This is not to say that every student specifically seeks out local training. Sometimes this is just not possible given the availability of credentialed trainers in a given area, desired scheduling or device offered for training. Also given the correspondence with people in the industry via the Internet, a trainer who is not local to a student may come so highly recommended; locality convenience becomes secondary to their desire to train with a specific trainer.
Nonetheless, wherever a person decides to train, a critical element in the training program are the training materials provided or presented to the students. People in an educational environment need to see, hear, and personally experience cosmetic tattooing. This is accomplished by providing a professional textbook and visual aids that support the critical information associated with knowledge of the process that leads to successful practical training. The FBD Fundamental Training Program materials meet that challenge.
Prerequisite:
Marjorie Grimm offers information to assist people seeking trainers who use the FBD, Training Materials program. This assistance is limited to recognizing the quality of program training materials that will be offered by the listed trainers and is not an endorsement associated with device, product, or practical (hands-on) program offerings.
Note: This web page is updated periodically to add new trainer information. Trainer names which may appropriately be listed on this page may not appear at the identical time a student is seeking training. Prospective students can always ask the trainer(s) they interview if they use the Faces By Design Fundamental Training Program materials, or you may contact me at
408-984-0401 for an update. My best wishes to you and your permanent cosmetic training research. Marjorie Grimm, CPCP Faces By Design
